Gotherington is a small village based in Gloucestershire which was founded in 780 A.D. boasting a deep rooted history, it's even mentioned in the historic Domesday Book as Godrinton. There is a village store, a pub, an old chapel, primary school and a park within the area, it also contains twenty Grade II listed buildings. Neighbouring village Bishops Cleeve lies at the foot of the highest point in the Cotswolds, Cleeve Hill, and has a notably bigger population, with one of it's residents being celebrity chef Martin Bettan. Heading into the Cotswolds is Winchcombe an ancient Saxon town with characterful honey coloured properties, museums and Sudeley castle!
